ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Music to accompany the insanity, chaos and ultimate breakdown of society resulting from SJWs, Cancel Culture, Censorship, the rise of Authoritarian Policies and Leaders in Local and Federal Governments - all just from 2020 when Covid and the Lockdowns occurred.

From the observations made from an outsider's perspective, D4Disgruntled was deeply impacted emotionally and politically from all that occured and is still occurring - and none of it seems to be getting better. He channeled these emotions and observations into a new album.

He feared he was (and still is to some degree) witnessing in real time his civil liberties and freedoms being stripped away.

ABOUT THE STORY
The EP tells the story of society breaking down from all the insane policies implemented during the lockdowns. So many policies contradict each other, and the elites abused their powers while the commoners were forced to follow in step and in line with the policies depsite many violating Civil Rights and Privacy Laws. Eventually total Authoritarian Regimes rise up and society falls. Eventually there is an uprising by civillians everywhere to take back their lives.

ABOUT THE MUSIC
D4Disgruntled is a fan of techno and electronica and had been seeking to show off his composing abilities in this style of music. This project just seemed to be an appropriate one in which to flex his techno muscles on. Something about that type of music fits with subject matters that are dark, dystopian visions.

Each track is a different moment chronologically in the societal collapse and is appropriately named. The listener is taken on a journey from when insanity of people began to the eventual civil wars that would occur. With the exception of one track in the middle that illustrates the rise in acceptance of many of the insane new policies and behaviors by people, the tone of the music from track to track gets darker, harsher, more aggressive and combative.

While all the music is predominantly techno / electronica / trance in nature, the tracks are structured individually like film score cues. They use the common compositional structures used in techno music but also feel like they were composed specifically for a scene. The album may seem like a compilation album but it is not.
